Frequently Asked Questions

+ How far in advance should I book in?

It is never too early to book your session, contact me as soon as possible so you don’t miss out.

+ When do you recommend I do my Maternity session?

I recommend booking your maternity session anywhere from 30-35 weeks. It does depend on each individual and how they're feeling.

+ How old should my baby be for my newborn session?

Contact me when you’re pregnant and I can pencil you in. If we need to move you around I can try my best, but for my style of photography anywhere from 2-8weeks is best.

+ Do you require a deposit?

Yes a $200 non-refundable deposit is due to secure your booking, then remaining amount is due 3days before your session.

+ Do you charge a travel fee?

Yes I charge a travel fee if I have to travel out of the Illawarra region.

+ When will I receive my online gallery?

I don’t like to set a specific time frame as it just depends on how busy I am, but usually between 3-5weeks.

+ How many images do I receive?

My galleries usually include around 80-100+ high resolution images, I don’t like to set an amount as I edit whatever I love as there is no use for me to keep the images on a harddrive and not hand them over to you, it feels wrong to be strict on the amount.

+ What do we do if it is raining or stormy?

We will reschedule your session, I want my clients to get the best out of their session. If it is a beach session and the wind is not right for the beach on that day then I will move location to somewhere less windy or reschedule.

+ What time will my session be?

Your session can either be held at Sunrise or Sunset. This time of the day is the best for lighting and letting us achieve that beautiful golden or dreamy blue hour look.

+ What should I/we wear?

Please email in regards to outfits as I have a small client wardrobe for maternity. And a client guide I send out.

+ Who can attend my session?

Immediate family only.

+ Do you provide Raw files?

No, I do not provide unedited images to clients. I select all the images in your gallery.

+ What if I feel awkward in front of the camera?

At first you might feel a tad awkward as you warm up, Honestly I am so chilled and try to make all my clients feel relaxed/give them guidance the whole time and the best advice I can give is, just go with it and have fun, be yourself because that is what I want to capture. If I am not saying anything and just snapping away, it means you're doing it and I’m capturing it.
